To anyone that knows me, it can''t be a surprise that I am going on a rant about BO. I love the game, and do fairly well at it. But I do hate one certain part of it. I hate the goddam campers.

So why do I hate the campers so much? Glad you asked. Camping is not a strategy.
Its just not. Its a way of playing when you can''t actually play any other way. Its the equivalent of hiding in the corner because you are getting your ass kicked.
The reason its not a strategy is because it so very rarely works. Strategy implies a plan or theory to achieve a goal. Since the goal of the game in FFA is to win, seems that its pretty flawed. How often do you see campers winning? You will only see it happen when a) the admins ignore the campers right by a spawn and b) when the rest of the players are too dumb to spec you and kill you when they respawn.
It screws the game up for people who can actually play.
Lets paint the scene. Heres me, running around, carefully working the map and racking up kill after kill with my reasonable ability and a bit of luck. I am just about to get that last kill and boom, I''m dead because some assclown plopped their blobby arse in a corner and picked me off running by. Now my killstreak is gone, and some muppet has earned themselves a single kill, but will of course not get any closer to winning. Its cowardly, cheap, and incredibly lame. This isn''t a rant about not-so-good players. Everybody starts somewhere, and nobody starts out amazing. You learn, you practice, you get better. This is about the idiots that are ranked anything over 30 and still hide like little girls afraid of the monsters in the closet.
